On the cusp of the New Year, let go and tune in!

Join us for a unique workshop that weaves together the power of you with the artistry of sound healing.

Ritu Kapur will lead you in restorative poses. Restorative yoga has many benefits for health and wellbeing, one of the largest being the de-stress factor. This workshop will be accessible for all levels, as it will involve some gentle stretching followed by a series of poses supported with various props in order to allow both the body and mind to truly relax. We will be doing some breathing practices to awaken and relax the nervous system as we flow into gentle poses.

Sound healer Janet Kessenich’s (spiralenergies.com) unique approach to vibration facilitates the opening of your energy field to clear and transform your energy while helping you to step into the fullness of your Essence, your Highest Self.

In this workshop, you will experience a sound/energy healing while you are in a meditative, lying down position. Additionally, sounds such as the Tibetan singing bowls will be in the background during yoga poses. These sounds and vibrations will deepen your yoga work and bring even greater relaxation and energetic alignment.

Ritu Kapur is an Occupational Therapist and a Certified yoga teacher. She likes to combine her knowledge of yoga and over 20 years of experience as an OT to offer therapeutic style of yoga.  Her goal is to offer gentle Yoga to those who need it the most as a form of therapy or Yog-chikitsa.

Janet Kessenich M.M., is a workshop leader, sound healer, and author whose work facilitates a deeper connection with one’s personal essence – your best self – so that you can live and contribute from a fully integrated, empowered place of alignment and wellbeing. She is the author of Music Lessons for the Spirit, a collection of essays drawn from the spiritual/life lessons she learned as a pianist. As a sound healer, she brings the essence of music – calibrated vibration – into her work with clients and workshop participants.
