Dear Janet, Ah! The power of three! Can be both a blessing & a curse of sorts. Thank you for sharing some of your “challenges.” It’s very brave of you! Some teachers, healers & accomplished persons such as yourself do not have the honesty and humility, perhaps?, to share that they, too, are mortals on the journey. I sometimes think that I’m doing everything all wrong, despite my best intentions, efforts and study, while others are doing everything right…In perfect step with the Divine, the Universe. It’s not a helpful thing to do but I can swerve into it like an unwanted habit. Thank you, also, for the reminder to stay in the present, and not live mulling over the past with regret or throwing ourselves into the future with worry or even anticipation. By doing so, we can miss the sweetness, light or grace in the present, even the present chaos, pain or challenge, great or small. The sweetness of sliced apples, of preparing a pie, of being alive! Of doing a kindness for someone else which always blesses us as well. May a new iPod, if necessary, come to you with ease and grace. In gratitude.

My goodness, Janet, this is a recipe for our times. The challenges are only going to get greater. There's a difference between worrying (OMG, what's going on -- what shall I do?) and being curious (hmm ... what's going on -- what might I do here). Similar, yet different. The curious position is potentially helpful;, the worry position just kicks in our adrenals -- helpful? not so much.
Good to take us through this, Janet. More to come!
